We make our way to the beautiful Goyt Valley in the Peak District, a glorious part of the Peaks which is much quieter than other areas in the Peak District National Park.

Here you find reservoirs, beautiful views and wooded valleys. We haven't been here since before doing YouTube, but Nanook loved it here as much as us, and it's somewhere we plan to leave some of his ashes.

We park up next to Errwood Reservoir, where the only sound is the water lapping against the dam. This really is one of our favourite motorhome wild camps for its peacefulness and beautiful scenery.


We have been living in our Elddis Encore 255 motorhome "Raymond" since April 2021, when we went fulltime with our rescue husky Nanook, AKA Nookie Monster.

Unfortunately Nanook passed away on Thursday 8th June 2023 after a short battle with cancer and we have been heartbroken by his loss, but he will always be a part of this channel.

In March 2023, Helen bought a 1993 Talbot Express Autosleeper Symphony, as she can't drive Raymond due to driving restrictions.

She now travels solo in "The Nook" when Karl travels solo on his Honda Fireblade motorbike.

We have always wanted to show the magic of nature and the beauty of places, regardless of the time of year.

We do show the ups & downs of vanlife too and we also show motorhome related content.
