I never had so much fun like I did while Exploring the Exposed Areas at the Francis E Walter Dam Reservoir. In 2023 I visited this location twice and vowed to return over the winter and that's because the water levels are lowered significantly. With the water levels low, much of the landscape that is normally underwater is now exposed and you can see things that you didn't know existed like a road, cliffs and more. Not only that, you pretty much have full access to this location and whether you visit summer or winter, there's always something to check out.
