Gwyneth Paltrow and her mother, Blythe Danner, attended a special event at "Goop" in the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles. While Gwyneth turned up and left with a big security team, Blythe Danner turned up without the fanfare in a stylish tweed jacket with her shirt collar popped up and a purple scarf. Gwyneth her and mom arrived separately but within ten minutes of each other. At one point even one of the bodyguards flashed a blue light at the photographers to stop them getting pictures of the actress. They didn't do this for Blythe and look at the difference in the pics!

Celebrity Trivia: Blythe Danner was married to producer and director Bruce Paltrow, who died of oral cancer in 2002.[17] She and Paltrow had two children together, actress Gwyneth Paltrow and director Jake Paltrow.
