The totally redesigned 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander has FINALLY been unveiled. This 4th generation Outlander comes standard with three rows, 11 airbags and 18” wheels. The Outlander is brawnier, taller and seemingly wider than the previous generation. The interior is stocked with cool tech like optional Bose sound, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 9" center touchscreen, 10"+ digital gauge cluster, and premium leather. The rumored 181hp, 2.5L 4-cylinder engine from the Nissan Rogue will be under the hood of this Outlander, available in FWD and Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control 4WD system. That “rally-proven” technology, the company says, was tested in severe weather and various road conditions to produce the “best equipped” vehicle Mitsubishi has ever sold in America. Suggested MSRP starts around $25,795 + $1195 in destination/handling charges. The new Outlander is expected to hit dealerships in April 2021....a new, more powerful PHEV model and details are forthcoming as of this upload. So, what do YOU think: does the totally-new design check all the right boxes? Is it missing anything? Did Mitsubishi pull off a win here? LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!
