In this video I show you a 2013 Chrysler 300 and how the engine is the same as in a Dodge Journey it is a 3.6 Pentaster Engine. These engines were used in a wide variety of vehicles manufactured by Chrysler. Dodge Journey, Dodge Avenger and Dodge Ram just to name a few. These engines are very well built, but they are famous for something called the Mopar Tick. In a lot of years that these engines were made, it is said that Chrysler installed cheap bulk rocker arms that would fail prematurely, and the only way to fix them is to change out the lifters and rocker arms, and it would fix them. The Mopar Tick is any Pentaster engine in which these rocker arms have failed and you can hear a ticking sound coming from your engine that is left unfixed for long period of time will lead to engine failure.
