Help get the 1872 Utah Southern depot open again! This is the second oldest train depot in the West! It was moved and restored in 2000 but closed due to Covid and never reopened.

It's in its original location next to the out-of-service tracks of the Union Pacific's original main line to Los Angeles in Lehi Utah. The right-of-way is slated to become the southern end of the UTA's Blue Line which now ends about 13 miles to the north at Draper. Some day the light rail will come right by this depot. But for now, the area is a bit out of the way.

It sits next to the historic Utah Southern Rail Trail, which does not utilize the original grade but rather sits next to it. It's an amazing grade!

Check out our video on exploring the 20 miles of grade:

HELP by writing an email to the city fathers and asking (politely) to bring back the depot! Before it falls into disrepair again.
