Something I find very important to practice for my business is the theory of "community over competition". The business world as a whole can be very competitive and cut-throat, with every man looking out for themselves, but I believe the craft world shouldn't take this approach. We will all succeed much more if we look out for one another instead of just focusing on ourselves. I don't think my business would be what it is and where it is without my fellow indie dyer friends around me, and I hope many of them feel the same.
