The 2025 Lexus UX 300h is the first Lexus model to use the fifth-generation Hybrid System, which integrates a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors through a planetary continuously variable transmission. A new hybrid transmission has been applied, allowing the front engine (83 kW) and rear engine (30 kW) to have higher power. Combined, the motor, lithium-ion battery and high-output motor deliver up to 196 horsepower.
In 2025, electric shifting technology was introduced on the UXh, converting digital operations into electrical signals. With no mechanical connections, this system enhances the experience of shifting quickly and smoothly.
