Another life-changing tool is on the market! I review it in depth and describe it below. But we need to share an important message as well. Loneliness isn’t just a feeling. Isolation can wreak havoc on physical, mental, and cognitive health. So, how can we overcome the isolation of creative, maker, or remote work?

Stay Busy and, at a bare minimum, get out of the house and go for a walk or wheelchair cruise every day. Make it short, and maybe I'll nod hello at my neighbors. Sometimes I'll walk to a shopping center just to get some human interaction in.

I read that 80% of workers feel that working from home has negatively impacted their mental health. 'We miss out on the social cues of a busy office and much-needed social interactions – catching up in the corridor or making a drink in the kitchen.

I find the best way to make connections is to look at it like a project: identify people in your area who share the same problems and challenges. The easiest way to have a beer with a stranger without being awkward is where both of you can let out steam and complain about the same issues. I commit at least once a week to have an end-of-the-day decaf coffee or drink.
