Join leaders from the Metal Construction Association for a discussion about current and future opportunities and challenges facing metal construction. This session will cover recent technical developments, upcoming regulatory issues, metal construction’s resiliency in a turbulent building market, the superior sustainability of metal substrates and much more.

Discover new advancements in the industry and how each will affect the future of construction, and ultimately grow the usage of metal in future construction projects. The Metal Construction Association, now in its 40th year, is comprised of leading manufacturers, metal forming equipment, accessories, and contractors devoted to the growth of the use of metal in construction.

Moderator:
Jeff Henry has served as executive director of the Metal Construction Association since June 2020. Henry previously served as MCA executive director from 2014-2016 and as director of strategic initiatives from 2012-2014. For the last 12 of his 39 years as an association professional, have been dedicated to trade associations in the construction industry. Over that time he has gained valuable knowledge and insight into the metal building component market.

Speaker:
Brian Partyka is a 28-year veteran of the metal construction industry and is the Vice President of Carlisle Architectural Metals, a division of Carlisle Construction Materials, where he and his team are responsible for Carlisle’s metal businesses: Petersen Aluminum and Drexel Metals. Brian is the current Chairman of the Metal Construction Association, is actively involved in the industry, and sits on multiple councils to drive and advance the growth of the Metal Construction Industry. Brian has published and contributed to numerous technical trade articles/white papers relating to metal roofing products and presents nationally about sustainable design using metal.

Speaker:
Paul Trombitas leads FMI’s building products sector, focusing on delivering unparalleled strategic market insights to leaders in these industries. He brings FMI’s unique understanding and depth of experience in the construction industry to these stakeholders and serves as an advisor for those making strategic decisions. To achieve this, Paul leads multi-discipline teams that hone in on the unique strategic questions of his clients. Over the years, Paul has worked with many of the most notable manufacturers and portfolio companies in the industry.

Speaker:
Bob Zabcik is general manager of the roofing business unit at Merlin Solar Technologies, a developer of innovative renewable energy technologies. He is a LEED accredited professional and a registered professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience. He is also an MCA board member as well as chair of the MCA Codes and Standards Committee.

Speaker:
Tom Seitz serves as the Executive Director of the MCM Alliance at the Metal Construction Association (MCA). He is responsible for proactively bringing together industry-leading, MCM manufacturers, fabricators, and suppliers to collaborate and promote their technical expertise to architectural, engineering, and building owner markets. He partners with and supports MCM members as they accomplish their goals, make an impact, and drive the industry forward, faster.
