Ford has announced its first foray into electric vehicles with the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tesla still has a host of advantages that the community has not considered when it comes to Ford's ramp up and sales of this vehicle.

Tesla has single car in each segment and just a few variants. Elon Musk has kept the number of vehicles at a minimum for simplicity. Ford has a different strategy similar to old phone manufacturers that were wiped out by Apple, which is to flood the market with different models and variants.
