Just like stropping has tuns of way to do go about doing it sharpening serrations has no shortage of ways to do it. I have tried many methods and tools but this method I have developed has given me the very best results. Here is the belt splitter I use it's from Hardcore Products the cost $160 I made my own jig insert to help split the belts down to really small size. Here is a Basic 2" to 1" splitter that's very affordable $69 but if you have a 3D printer or laser like me you could cut your own inserts or even make out of wood something to help make small belts easier. https://amzn.to/3ucGPL5

If you can't buy either you can also cut them with scissors. They don't come out as nice and perfect but I did this for a long time until I found the belt splitter above and saved ups to get it. Be sure to take note of the blade styles as they are different on different splitters.
