Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak met with Egyptian Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Osama Askar.
Gürak welcomed Osama Askar, who is in Ankara as an official guest, with a military ceremony at the General Staff Headquarters. Following the playing of the anthems of the two countries, Askar saluted the guard of honor.
Following the ceremony, the Chiefs of General Staff held a meeting closed to the press.
