We can’t believe Avatar: The Last Airbender is finally on Netflix. It allows new fans to discover the show for the first time, or if you’re like us, to rewatch it for the hundredth time. It just never gets old. We love watching all the different bending styles and techniques, but a major question has been nagging at us for a while: which bending style is the most powerful? All four bending techniques in Avatar the Last Airbender and its sequel Legend of Korra have all displayed amazing feats and extraordinary abilities that its almost hard to choose. But if you truly look at all four bending styles, we think there’s one that’s a clear winner.

Is it firebending with its destructive force, or airbending with its equal balance of attack and defense? Did Toph and Bumi prove to us that earthbending is the most powerful bending style? Or did Katara and Amon’s ability to bloodbend push waterbending to the top? All four elements have a solid reason for being at the very top but just like the Avatar, there can be only one!
