Just when you thought there was no more silly fun to be had... Gru and his Minions return for yet more silly mayhem as the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent begins a bold new era in ‘Despicable Me 4.’ And by mayhem, we mean mayhem! And by silly, we mean SILLY!

In the new action-comedy, which hits theaters July 3, 2024, Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Emmy winner Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.

Directed by Oscar nominee Chris Renaud (co-creator of the ‘Minions’) and produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman, the film stars Oscar nominees Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig, who return for… you guessed it… more mayhem!

The new cast also includes Joey King, Emmy winner Stephen Colbert, SNL’s Chloe Fineman, and newcomer Madison Polan. Returning cast members include Pierre Coffin as the voice of the Minions, Oscar nominee Steve Coogan, Oscar nominee Renaud, Daytime Emmy nominee Miranda Cosgrove, and franchise veteran Dana Gaier.

The film is co-directed by Patrick Delage (animation director ‘Sing 2’ and ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’), the screenplay is by the Emmy-winning creator of ‘White Lotus,’ Mike White, and veteran writer of every ‘Despicable Me’ film, Ken Daurio.
