They say first impressions are everything and my first trip to Sunset Country & Lake of the Woods was a experience I will never forget. Visiting and fishing with the team of Matt Rydberg & Brian McNanny at Crawfords Camp in Sioux Narrows ON. These guys really know how to make a guest feel at home & have years of experience catching everything that swims in Lake of the Woods. We fished a variety of locations with small poppers and Strike King Sexy Dawgs and triggered some explosive strikes and hook ups just about everywhere we fished. This region and lake really is a smallmouth bass factory in terms of habitat, numbers and quality of fish. You have to check them out when planning your next fishing vacation in Northern Ontario.
