I have been a real estate agent and broker for more than 20 years. I am also a real estate investor and while I do not represent buyers or sellers very often, I do use my real estate license for my own deals and the occassional deal with friends and family. Real estate commissions have been structured in a similar way since I started with the seller proceeds paying the buyer commission in most cases. Commissions have always been negotiable and I have used many different commission structures in my career.

I wanted to create this video to show what the buyer would pay in commissions with the current system and what they may pay if the system changes like many think it will.
