The Canonigos, led by Mayor Placido, have enjoyed sole political control of the town of Santo Niño for several years, but their abusive reign is threatened when Fortunato Guerrero plans to run for town mayor.

Directed by Pepe Marcos and with writing credits to Bernard Factor Canaberal (story) and Humilde 'Meek' Roxas (screenplay), "Uubusin Ko Ang Lahi Mo" is a 1991 action film which stars Phillip Salvador, Maricel Laxa, Robert Arevalo, Marita Zobel, Eddie Gutierrez, Michael de Mesa, Kevin Delgado, Atoy Co, Cathy Mora, Benedict Aquino, and Dencio Padilla among others.
