Hello, I have a C5 incomplete & T7 spinal cord injury, SCI, and today I am going to show you how to get onto an airplane as well as disembark along with common mistakes contract ground personnel make that can cause you to get injured.

The contract ground personnel are not airline employees, companies like Air Servce, ABM and G2 to name a few. Most airlines such as United Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska, JetBlue, Spirit and others along with most airports use contract ground personnel.

Its important to be polite but advocate for yourself and be assertive because many of the contract ground personnel are not trained correctly or not trained at all.
