In the shop we have an Audi Allroad (2.0t TSI) that came in with an excessive oil burning problem. Commonly on these engines that are longitudinal you will have a problem with the OEM pistons. We are replacing the pistons with an updated version. We give a brief overview of what is required to do a job like this and why you have to take the engine out of the car to install the updated pistons for oil consumption.
