Today we test out the Mercury Rise TR-50 revolver using a variety of ammo and try to determine if it would be a good option for self-defense. The gun is considered "less lethal" meaning there is less of a chance of killing someone with it. Maybe you hate guns or you just can't legally own one. Maybe you live in an apartment. Maybe you have kids that you worry might access a firearm. There's lots of good reasons why this might be a good option. Just remember that you have no idea what the intentions a home intruder may have and if they are armed or not. You must assume they are there to harm you because you only have one chance to get it right to protect your most sacred things in your life, your loved ones.
