United States Ambassador to South Africa, Reuben Brigety, says relations between the two countries are very strong.

They have now launched the Atlanta Phambili Initiative which sets the stage for deeper cooperation between Washington and Pretoria.

It comes at a time when there are concerns about the political and economic relations between the two countries.
