In this video, we are taking a closer look at the new iOS13 and iPad OS 13 to see which hard drives are compatible and work best. The launch of iOS 13 brought external drive support and it is now possible to plug in a hard drive or thumb drive and manage media and files via the "Files" App. We test a series of drives both SSD and HDD versions to see which ones work and which ones don't. We also do a walkthrough on how to move/copy media from an external drive into your files app or photos app. This new feature makes life easier for mobile content creators and those who edit video on their iPads with apps such as LumaFusion. You Can even connect some cameras and drones directly and view files right off the devices. This works with gear such as the DJI Osmo Action, Osmo Pocket and Mavic 2 series of drones.
