On Eid al-Fitr, a day traditionally marked by joy and celebration for Muslims around the world, Palestinian children found themselves amidst a tragic and devastating reality. Instead of reveling in the festivities and the end of Ramadan, they became victims of an escalating conflict that has plagued their homeland for generations.

The streets, usually adorned with colorful decorations and filled with laughter, were now marred by destruction and despair. Israeli airstrikes relentlessly pounded residential areas in Gaza, leaving behind a trail of devastation. Children, who should have been playing with new toys or enjoying sweets, were instead buried under rubble or huddled in fear, their innocence shattered by the violence surrounding them.
