Arcade staple Out Run is getting a proper release on Nintendo Switch, as a component of the Sega Ages line-up.

Crafted by the amazing Yu Suzuki - Mr Shenmue himself - Out Run was first released to arcades in 1986.

Japanese fans can expect the Nintendo Switch version before the year's end with an international version coming in early 2019.

Just like the other Sega Ages titles, Out Run is getting a little present day love, meaning: gyro controls and widescreen 60fps. Music from the 3DS rendition will be incorporated.

In Japan, Out Run for Nintendo Switch will cost 925 yen (about $8.19). Keep it locked to Scarflix for more news on the Switch version as it becomes available.
