A JetBlue Airways Airbus A321-231 registration N978JB, performing flight JBU2216 from Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) being on approach to JFK Airport discontinued the approach and requested delay vectors. Later the crew declared an emergency, reported flight control failure.
