I love my traditional pencil sharpener, don't get me wrong. Especially when it comes to safety for all ages and gently sharpening my softer color pencils. However, when it comes to working with graphite pencils, I prefer to sharpen them with a straight edge razor blade as I was taught in my college studio art classes.
