When Roland Emmerich’s 1998 Godzilla movie was announced, expectations were HIGH. Finally, Hollywood was taking a crack at the king of all monsters and technology had advanced enough that it could bring the king to life in an unprecedented way. But the movie came out and it wasn’t exactly a hit with fans. The 2 planned sequels were canned but a cartoon was made in conjunction with the movie - GODZILLA: THE SERIES.
