The last generation Honda Accord was one of the best sedans you could buy in any class. When the new Honda Accord came out, it appeared as though it had lost some of the previous Honda Accord's sporty flair in favor of more refinement and efficiency. After living with the 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid for more than a week and racking up hundreds of miles in it, I can safely say that it is without question one of the best sedans on the market. The new Honda Accord is refined, comfortable, and incredibly efficient in hybrid trim... but is it still a Honda Accord? I'm less sure about that. Some of the previous Honda Accord's DNA seems to have been lost, and the styling has definitely become maybe too safe and mainstream. This is a shame since the Honda Accord always occupied a special place in the affordable midsize sedan market. Basically, the Honda Accord was the best of all worlds. Most buyers won't care, though. They'll be impressed by the new Honda Accord's blend of space, practicality, efficiency, and quality for under $40k. Maybe I should be, too, but there's part of me that still yearns for the Honda Accords of the past. What do YOU think about the new Honda Accord? We'd love to hear about it!
