At 40 years old I gave birth at 41 weeks at home in the water. If you want to skip to the moment he arrives that happens at 11 minutes. You'll see he was born with the amniotic sac on his head, which they remove when they give him to me. He was born in the sac, which broke when his body made its way out.

Just to clarify, my number one goal is a healthy mama and baby, but while I'm pushing I just do not want to tear.

For those of you worried about my age or a home birth, I had an OB, midwife physician, and doula attending and was monitored closely.

This is my personal birth journey and it's not to say that this is the best or only way to do it. It's just the way I chose to bring my son into this world.
