We recently had our hands on a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black edition Ecodiesel for a week. Naturally, the first thing I wanted to do was get it out on our highway MPG loop to test the overall highway efficiency against the Hemi Powered Ram Rebel and Pentastar V6 Ram 1500 Big Horn that we previously tested on the same loop.

The EcoDiesel is 80% new for 2020 and Ram now refers to it as the third generation of this engine. Putting out 260 horsepower and 480lb ft of torque with improved fuel economy this new EcoDiesel is an impressive package.
