The E8 gameboard, represented in 3D by Fibonacci icosagrid (FIG), has infinite possible simple programs that follow certain rules. These rules include using savings based on mathematical structure, using efficient language with respect to savings, and providing probability spreads for cycle clock interactions. A finite number of games meet all these criteria and provide realistic probabilities.

However, the challenge is integrating the probabilities in a way that relates to mathematical interference, like the amplitudes picture in quantum mechanics. One of the proposed ideas is that emergent consciousness (EC) can steer emergent physical (EP) away from thermal equilibrium. EC can take on a binary form of consciousness: service to yourself or service to others. The difference between EP and EC is that there is no concept of self in EP. Consciousness has a hierarchy of EC meaning and EC can emerge in different forms and flavors.

The mathematical structure of the framework allows for various topologies of emergent consciousness, and the quantum gravity theory is based on the idea of feedback loops across time that form a non-local neural network architecture. Within this network are several sub-topologies of connections across EP and EC, and there are fundamentally different topologies within this information space across time. Consciousness may come in different fundamental forms or flavors, and within each form, there can be countless magnitudes.

If spiritual experiences are actually glimpses of the Self-simulation Hypothesis, it could unify spiritual ideas with mathematical physics and serve as a wake-up call for people. This idea needs to be introduced urgently because of the changes happening and the potential destruction of society. While discovering a predictive quantum gravity theory would be exciting, it would only offer circumstantial validation of the Self-simulation Hypothesis, which is more profound and has a better chance of avoiding destruction.

Are we in a simulation?

This multi-part series is about the nature of reality. One philosophy to consider is materialism, which is the guess that reality is not made of information at its core but is made of material or matter. The digital physics revolution is the increasingly popular belief among physicists that materialism is a false philosophy and that reality is literally made of information vs being conveniently described by it.

If reality is made of information, two candidates for what its substrate would be include: (1) An emergent universal computer. Or (2) an emergent universal mind. Either one could serve as the substrate to hold and process information.

The series starts with an emphasis on the instability of human civilization in the 21st century and how quickly old scientific and cultural belief systems are changing. It ends with the provocative suggestion that a clearer scientific picture of what reality is could shift humanity off course from its current high potential for apocalypse. Specifically, if the truer picture turns out to be a status quo rejection of the ancient philosophy of materialism, the implication is that it would change how humanity evolves and interacts on this planet going forward.
