This video shows how to #fix a flat tire on a riding mower or lawn tractor. Get #diy help to repair a hole in the tread of the tire using sealant.

1. Determine where the leak is.

HACK: Spray window cleaner or submerge tire in water.
Watch for bubbles!

2. Make sure to wear eye protection.

3. Raise and support the mower.

4. Rotate valve stem to 5 or 7 o’clock position.

5. Lower mower.

6. Put transfer tube on tire sealant bottle.

7. Remove valve core. Attach other end of transfer tube.

8. Raise bottle till it’s upside down. Slowly squeeze recommended amount of sealant into the tire.

TIP! You might need more than one bottle.

9. Reinstall valve core.

10. Inflate tire to proper pressure.

TIP! You can find this on the tire’s sidewall.

11. Now’s the time to remove puncturing objects.

If it’s a screw, you have to unscrew it.

12. Immediately drive mower 3-5 mins. This fully seals the puncture.
