This week we hit the road on a solo trip close to Las vega out to Mount Charleston. I wanted to find the highest elevation camp spot available on the mountain which was unfortunately not a dispersed location but instead location in McWilliams Campground almost at the top of the mountain under Lee Canyon ski resort!

We had a relaxing time out and got surprised by an unexpected storm that rolled in, little did I know it was the first sign of Hurricane Hillary and I luckily left before the entire mountain was evacuated!
