this oak was damaged in a storm. as can be seen the tree is split badly to the base. the danger is there is a busy road 8m from the tree and telephone lines near the branches. the tree was tied to our Unimog to prevent it falling toward the road. the tree was felled in two parts because of the split. the road side was felled first then the field side. I would have liked to have filmed the entire fell but due to the large risks with this one and i was on my own, i wanted all my concentration on the tree!
