Gender-based violence activists in Mkhondo, Mpumalanga, say there are still gaps that need to be addressed in South Africa's justice system, 30 years into democracy.

A 47-year-old woman, who worked as a domestic worker, was raped by her employer in 2014 and only this week the court handed down a 10-year prison sentence to the perpetrator.
