Happy Friday the 13th maniacs (even though it's Saturday the 14th and editing took longer than I thought it would but like better late then never I guess?),

I'm so excited to share one of the campier horror movie franchises I enjoy: Friday the 13th. In this 8-Film Blu-ray, I go over some of my favourite Friday the 13th movies, a little bit of history about the franchise, when Jason Voorhees finally makes an appearance, and when the infamous hockey mask becomes part of the canon of the film series as much as it has become canon when it comes to pop culture.

I also go over a few comparisons to the Halloween film series and the Nightmare on Elm Street series, which is also owned by New Line Cinema like present-day Friday the 13th.
