I've been coming to the ring for a few years - always with a 996 GT3
This is the fastest I've managed to drive it (so far).
Now I can see many potential opportunities for improvement. I hadn't thought 7:4x was possible for me, now I think 7:3x is within line of sight especially with newer tyres, fully dry track, more commitment at the beginning, and softening the suspension (I didn't adjust make any adjustments and was using same settings as traditional circuit/slicks use).

Of course, one has to respect the Ring and drive within your margins - I have experience of what can go wrong at the Ring! Key for me was that at no point did I feel I wasn't fully in control (notwithstanding that safety margins/risks are much tighter at higher pace)
