A University of Melbourne First Nations student has returned from a NASA internship facilitated by the National Indigenous Space Academy.
Gundungurra woman Tully Mahr traveled to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California for the 10-week internship, where she completed projects outlined by mentors and contributing to live missions.
Watch as Mahr, who is studying a Master of Mechanical Engineering, reflects on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and step towards achieving her dream of working at a space agency.
