But you can witness that bygone era as it comes alive every Friday night at a classic car show — which Lost LA host Nathan Masters and author and chef George Geary enjoy in this latest episode, as they experience a throwback to the 1940s. Learn about the landmark's Googie architecture and mid-century neon — both of which were designed to catch the eyes of passing drivers. It's a feast for the eyes and the palate, as the home of the original double deck hamburger (which possibly inspired the Big Mac).
