Carved by the milt water of a huge glacier thousands of years ago, a journey "Through' the Gap" in a pony and trap returning by boat via the Killarney Lakes is the only way to experience the magic of the Gap - a magnificent unforgettable trip not to be missed.

The journey begins at approx 10.30 at Ross Castle where you are taken by the traditional open boats through the Three Lakes of Killarney passing by Innisfallen Island, Bricin Bridge, Colleen Bawn Rock, Torc Mountain, Old Weir Bridge , The Meetings of The Waters just to mention a few.

The boat journey takes approximately 2 hours and ends at Lord Brandon's Cottage where you can enjoy a light snack.

Here you change to a pony and trap ride through the Gap of Dunloe where you can view a spectacular glaciated valley. The tour is the perfect way to see the rich and varied vegetation and scenery Killarney has to offer.

Your day ends at the renowned Kate Kearney's Cottage. Approx Finish Time: 14:30- 15:00. This tour can be done in reverse- on request and subject to availability.
