It's an age-appropriate and engaging activity for for Pre-K through second grade art classes.

This is the actual digital storybook that I use as part of the Pollock art lessons in my elementary art curriculum. After this introduction students play and experiment with action painting and create a Pollock-inspired drip painting process art project.
