72 volt GEM Car battery recovery technique. In this video we use a six bank 10 amp battery charger to independently boost the six deep cycle gel batteries.
The Problem: Gem Car charger will not turn on because the battery "pack" voltage is too low.
Solution: Charge each battery with an external (portable) 12v 10, 15 or 20 Amp charger.
Goal: The on-board charger will function and batteries will not be left in a damaging state of discharge.

Battery brand is Leoch p/n LPG12-100. Another brand of gel deep cycle battery is Deka 8G31. AGM deep cycle batteries do not last as long as the gel types.
