In this video we test the Dyson Gen5outsize for raw power (CFM and suction), long term suction (flour clog test), surface level pickup (on carpet and hard floors), deep cleaning, battery life, debris containment (fog test), hair tangling, and ease of use (weight, handling, control, and dust bin size).

At the end of the video we go over the vacuum's positives and negatives. We emphasize how one of the Gen5outsize's biggest weaknesses - its large size - is also its biggest strength. The Gen5outsize is large and heavy, but its large size gives it a much larger dust bin and cleaner head than most other cordless vacuums on the market.
