Having owned my Porsche Cayman 981 GT4 for just over one year, the paint protection film that was originally installed on the car in 2016 is coming up to 6.5 years old.

The PPF has taken a beating in places, especially the front bumper and bonnet, and as this is my "forever car" I've decided to make the investment and get the old PPF removed, and then replaced with new XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film.

Join me in this video filmed at Huntsmith Detailing in Northamptonshire, with Ryan the business owner and installer.

We cover everything you need to know about the paint protection film application process, what to look for when choosing an installer, and what level of protection you can expect from paint protection film and the self-healing properties.

I learnt a lot making this video and I hope you also learn something by watching this video.
