This module discusses the ways that we study histone modifications in epigenomes, primarily through chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and ChIP-Seq analysis. At the beginning of this course module you will be introduced to the basics of ChIP and ChIP-Seq analysis followed by a more practical section on how to prepare for ChIP and how to analyze ChIP-Seq results. Finally, you’ll participate in a hands on ChIP-Seq analysis activity and have the opportunity to complete your own research project, if you choose.
