👋 In todays review we get behind the wheel of the 2024 BMW 840i xDrive Coupe! What a luxurious coupe with nice flowing lines on the exterior and this model even has a $5,500 paint option that changes colors in the lighting! The interior has a nice mixe with the brushed aluminum and leather, has a very upscale interior! The driving experience is phenomenal with it's handling and power! This is the smaller engine compared to what is available in the BMW 850i or M850i and my first time behind the wheel with the inline 6, but this is a very popular engine and offered in multiple BMW models, so I've been in BMW's with this engine! For the weight, you really can't feel it, very planted in the turns, the x-drive all wheel drive system provides the car with tons of grip and the M sport brakes do there job as well! It's a comfortable car to drive in comfort, very quiet and well insulated and then when you pop it over into sport mode, the exhaust note comes to life! It's not crazy loud, but you can hear those pops on downshifts! The interior just has a nice feeling to it, the seats are comfortable, the infotainment system is easy to use and there are tons of nice features! Maybe we will see the next generation BMW 840i (8 series) incorporate the newer infotainment system, but for now this system is easy to use! This would be a great daily for the practicality it has but also for the fun driving experience! I have driven the BMW M8 Competition and you can tell it's not as quick, but still fun and while I didn't do any performance type driving, I could tell slightly the power difference! For a lot less money, this is still a great option, but just doesn't have that next level as far as driving modes and all like the M8, but still a phenomenal vehicle to drive!
