Many people are taught the third line method when learning how to reverse into a parking space in the UK. This method limits you to easy spaces in only the car you learnt in. It doesn't teach you how to park in more awkward spaces, driveways and garages. On the Driving Test in the UK you can use whatever method you like, as long as it's accurate, you have good control of the car and you make effective observations. Here is a parking technique that requires practise, but once you have the skill you will find parking anywhere easy.
