Farpoint Convention, which was held for years in Hunt Valley, Maryland, had to move on short notice as its host hotel shut down. We spoke to Con Chair Sharon VanBlarcom about the new location they found on short notice and what differences fans will face.

Many fans were dismayed when the Delta Hotels Baltimore Hunt Valley announced it was shutting down. That hotel hosted many pop-culture events, such as Farpoint Con, Monster Mania, Shore Leave, and the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention. Farpoint, like those others, had to find a new venue. We spoke to Sharon VanBlarcom, the Farpoint Convention Chair, about what fans can expect from the new location at the Doubletree by Hilton in Pikesville, Maryland.
