This is a proven in-depth guide for digital camera photo & video recovery from all popular brands.

Before we start, make sure that you do not use your digital camera or the memory card from your digital camera anymore. This will greatly increase your chances of a successful digital camera recovery.

As for the actual tutorial bit of this video, we're gonna be using a piece of data recovery software to pull all of our photos and videos off of the memory card or our digital camera. And for that, we're gonna be using Disk Drill. It's a digital camera recovery software that is free to download.
It allows for recovery from all popular brands of digital cameras such as Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Fuji, Nikon, Black Magic, et cetera. Different types of memory cards such as SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, CFAst, and CF from all kinds of manufacturers as well. Such as Kingston, Transcend, SanDisk, and so on. Disk Drill is also a good choice because it's poised for recovery for nearly every file type you can think of as well. Disk Drill supports such file formats as JPG/JPEG, TIFF/TIF, CR2, NEF, DNG, ARW, ORF, SR2, REF, MEF, CRW, X3F, BMP, GIF, PNG, ICO, SDR/SDT, PZF, EMF, OCI, ICC, PCB, TPF, PSD, ABR, MAX, CDR, DWG, DXF, MB, PSP, DGN, EXB, JNB, DCD, QCD, TCW, QXP, QPT, GJD, ANI, WMF, VFB, SLDPRT, etc.

There are plenty of reasons to use data recovery software to recover data from a digicam, such as accidental deletion from the camera or PC/Laptop/Mac, file transfer error, accidental formatting, SD card corruption, virus attacks/Malware, or physical damage. All of these reasons can lead to digital camera photo recovery.

đź“ŚHow to recover deleted pictures from a digital camera:
1. Plug in your memory card to your computer using a USB-type card reader or your laptop’s/PC’s built-in card reader.
2. Download and install Disk Drill.
3. Select your memory card from the drive selection list, then click “Search for lost data”.
4. Wait for Disk Drill to complete its can. Then, click “Review found items”.
5. Preview any file (including videos) by hovering your mouse pointer to the left of its file name, then clicking the eye button that appears. Disk Drill can also preview raw files.
7. Select the files you want to recover from your SD card by ticking the boxes in the checkbox column. Once you’re satisfied with your selection, click “Recover”.
8. Select the destination folder for your recovered files – make sure to select a location on your computer, and not on your memory card (otherwise, you may overwrite your existing data.). Then, click “OK”.
